January-August 2014 126 165 Units Sell Daihatsu Cars

In the period January-August 2014 wholesales Daihatsu successfully break the 126 165 units. This is an increase of 9 percent compared to the same period in 2013 as many as 115 612 units. While Daihatsu retail sales for the same period reached 122.622 units, up 7 percent compared to the same period in 2013 as many as 114.364 units.

 "Daihatsu has gone through 8 months in the year 2014 as well. We are optimistic in the last 4 months of 2014, sales of Daihatsu will continue to grow as the market. For that we will continue to improve service quality, both geographically and product that can satisfy the desire of loyal customers, "said Amelia Tjandra, Marketing Director of PT Astra Daihatsu Motor (ADM).

Period of eight months in 2014, remains the most widely Daihatsu wholesales contributed by three major contributors namely Gran Max, Xenia and Ayla. Gran Max achieve sales of 44 567 units or 35,31 percent of which consists of the Gran Max Pick Up as much as 27,81 percent or 35.089 units and 9478 units of the Gran Max minibuses or 7,51 percent.

The second largest contributor is the All New Xenia MPV as much as 32,736 units or 25.95 percent. While Astra Daihatsu Ayla reach 29.898 units or occupy the third position with 23.7 percent contribution. Next up is the Daihatsu Terios SUV accounted for 13.351 units or 10,58 percent, as many as 2,810 units Daihatsu Sirion or 2,23 percent and New Luxio 2,803 units or 2,22 percent.

While retailsales Daihatsu same period reached 122.662 units, up 7 percent compared with the same period in 2013 amounted to 114 364 units. Details retailsales does not vary much with the wholesales, the main pillar of the Gran Max, Xenia and Ayla.

Gran Max sold 42.971 units or 35,03 percent consisting of consisting of Gran Max Pick Up as much as 33 382 units or 27,21 percent and the Gran Max minibuses 9589 units or 7,82 percent. All New Xenia MPV followed by as many as 32,684 units or 26,65 percent. Astra Daihatsu Ayla in third place contributed 28 269 units or 23,05 percent. While other products Daihatsu Terios is accounted for 13,430 units or 10,95 percent, New Luxio 2.953 units or 2,41 Sirion percent and as many as 2,355 units, or 1.92 percent.
